Schaumarer Männerchor

Der Schaumarer Männerchor wurde im Jahre 1969 gegründet. Der Chor hat in den vergangenen 45 Jahren ein breites Repertoire erreicht, in dem die Musikstücke des XX. Jahrhunderts, beliebte Opernchorstücke, romantische Werke, und Chorwerke der klassischen und der modernen zeitgenössischen Komponisten eine bedeutende Rolle spielen. Neben dem „klassischen” Gesangmaterial möchte aber der Chor auch in der Pflege der schaumarer schwäbischen Traditionen aktiv teilnehmen, so haben in ihrem Programm auch die in schaumarer Dialekt vorgetragenen Liedersträuße ihren Platz.

In den vergangenen Jahrzehnten hat der Chor an mehreren Chortreffen, Wettbewerben, Qualifizierung sowohl in Ungarn, als auch im Ausland teilgenommen. Zuletzt erreichte er im Jahre 2009 wieder die Qualifikation für Konzertchöre. Der Sängerchor besteht aus 18 Mitgliedern, der Dirigent heißt Attila Fábián, der Chorsekretär Michael Wenczel.

The Solymár Male Choir

The Solymár Male Choir was founded in 1969. During the 45 years of its functioning the repertoire became very wide, beside the XX^th century choral works, the popular opera choruses, the romantic choral works and beside the works of great composers of old time music there are also the choruses of contemporary composers. Our Choir beside the “classical” melodies also affords for taking an active part in attending the German nationality traditions so in our performances there are also German language folk songs presented in Solymár Swabian dialect.

The Choir during the past decades appeared on numerous choir meetings, contests and qualifications in Hungary and abroad. It last time gained again the “Concert Choir” Qualification in 2009. The choir has 18 members, its leader is Mr. Wenczel, Mihály and its conductor is Mr. Fábián, Attila.
